The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is designed to help you work, study or migrate to a country where English is the native language.
The IELTS test has four sections Listening (30 minutes), Reading (60 minutes), Writing (60 minutes) and Speaking (11-14 minutes). The total test time is 2 hours and 45 minutes.
Computer-delivered IELTS test format. The IELTS test is offered in two formats, IELTS Academic and General Training. If you choose to take the computer-delivered IELTS test, you will take the Listening, Reading and Writing components using a computer at test centers.
The only difference between the IELTS on computer and IELTS on paper test is your test day experience. The test format, question types, time allocated to each test part and content is the same for both IELTS on computer test and the IELTS on paper test.
The content for both the IELTS on paper and IELTS on computer test is the same, the level of difficulty is also same.
The Speaking test is a conversation with a certified IELTS Examiner. The Speaking test is made up of three parts. It is recorded on an audio cassette or a digital recorder.
An IELTS Test Report Form (TRF) is valid for two (2) years.
